Lebanon has a new government led by Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, who says he wants to rebuild trust in the international community.
It is the first time since 2022 that a full-fledged government is in place in the war-torn country.
President Joseph Aoun announced in a statement on Saturday that he had accepted the resignation of the former transitional government and signed a decree on the formation of a new government led by Salam.
