Six Chinese residents of Cyprus, members of the same family, are being treated at Paphos General Hospital with respiratory problems, following a fire that broke out in their home around 3am on Tuesday.
The maisonette in which the couple lived with their two children, and the children’s grandparents, is located in the “Universal” area in Paphos.
The fire broke out in a plastic storage shed that was adjacent to the wall of the house.
The residents managed to evacuate the burning house before the fire took on any significance.
According to the fire department, the house suffered extensive damage.
