The ITB Berlin Convention 2025, which kicks off this morning in Berlin, will tackle the tourism industry’s transition from March 4-6 at Berlin Exhibition Centre.
The event, themed “The Power of Transition lives here,” promises high-profile talks on travel’s future.
More than 400 international experts will present insights into social and economic developments, analyze industry trends, and showcase findings from business, research, and science in 200 sessions across 17 tracks.
Key topics include digital transformation, artificial intelligence, climate change, sustainable strategies, work changes, emerging customer needs, and niche markets.
Later on Tuesday, Christoph Debus, CEO of the DERTOUR Group, will outline the transformation of the leading German tour operator at ITB Berlin 2025.
In the session “Shaping DERTOUR Group’s Future: Insights from Christoph Debus,” part of the Tour Operator & Travel Sales Track on the Blue Stage, Hall 7.1b, Debus will discuss the company’s strategic priorities and future industry prospects.
A panel on the Blue Stage will also address the German tour operator market post-FTI bankruptcy.
The ITB, or Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin, is the world’s leading travel trade show held annually in Berlin. It brings together professionals from the global tourism industry to network, exchange insights, and showcase travel products and services.
