British Minister of State for Europe Stephen Doughty is set to arrive in Cyprus later for meetings with both sides ahead of the informal expanded meeting in Geneva on March 17 and 18.
Doughty’s schedule includes separate meetings with President Nikos Christodoulides, Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar, Foreign Minister Konstantinos Kombos, Deputy Minister for European Affairs Marilena Raouna, DISY President Annita Demetriou, AKEL President Stefanos Stefanou, and Republican Turkish Party (CTP) leader Tufan Erhiurman.
The visit aims to prepare for the upcoming Geneva talks.
