FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Cyprus is advancing gastroenterology services, Health Minister Michalis Damianos said Sunday at the 3rd Pancyprian Gastroenterology Conference.
Damianos praised the Cyprus Gastroenterology Society for its educational initiatives and noted the field’s rapid evolution in disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. He emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to continuing education as key to improving healthcare.
“The provision of upgraded healthcare is at the heart of our policies,” Damianos said, citing progress under the General Health System, including modernized hospitals in both public and private sectors.
