FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Venezuela has announced it will resume accepting repatriation flights for Venezuelan migrants from the United States, according to Jorge Rodriguez, president of the Venezuelan National Assembly and chief negotiator with the U.S.
Rodriguez stated that the agreement ensures the safe return of Venezuelan nationals with guarantees for their human rights.
The flights had been suspended on March 8 following the U.S. Department of Commerce’s decision to revoke Chevron’s license to export Venezuelan oil.
This marks a renewed effort to facilitate the return of Venezuelan migrants under agreed terms.
