FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen addressed Donald Trump’s renewed claims that the U.S. “must have” Greenland, calling the situation challenging and likely to persist.
In a Facebook post Wednesday, Frederiksen emphasized that Greenland is not for sale and has no desire to join the United States.
Frederiksen stated that this stance has been communicated clearly to U.S. officials both publicly and privately.
Greenland remains an autonomous territory within the Kingdom of Denmark.
