FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – President Nikos Christodoulides and Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar are set to meet on April 2, marking their first official dialogue since an informal expanded meeting in Geneva.
The meeting will take place at 9 a.m. at the residence of Colin Stewart, the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative in Cyprus, located in the United Nations-controlled area of Nicosia airport.
Christodoulides previously stated that the Greek Cypriot side had proposed potential dates for the meeting through the United Nations, which facilitated the arrangement.
The discussion is seen as a significant step in addressing the ongoing Cyprus issue.
