FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Cypriot Foreign Minister Konstantinos Kombos is on a two-day official visit to Rome, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations between Cyprus and Italy, as well as addressing key issues on the European agenda.
His discussions will also include the Cyprus issue, regional developments, and preparations for Cyprus’s upcoming Presidency of the Council of the European Union in early 2026.
During his stay, Kombos will meet with Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani. He is also set to hold talks with the President of the Italian Parliament, Lorenzo Fontana, members of the Italian Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee, and the Italy-Cyprus Friendship Group.
The meetings are expected to center on bolstering cooperation on regional and international matters, with an emphasis on shared European priorities.
