FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – The Migration Department under the Deputy Ministry of Migration and International Protection is now accepting applications for residence permits through the “Cyprus Digital Nomad Visa” program.
The initiative allows non-EU and non-EEA nationals to live in Cyprus while working remotely, providing IT-based services for clients or companies located abroad.
Authorities aim to position Cyprus as a hub for electronic services, leveraging its business-friendly environment to attract digital nomads and contribute to economic growth.
Details about the program, including eligibility requirements and application forms, are available on the Migration Department’s official website.
A digital nomad is someone who works remotely, often traveling and living in various locations rather than being tied to a traditional office.
Their work is typically reliant on digital tools, such as laptops, smartphones, and internet connectivity, enabling them to perform tasks from anywhere in the world.
