FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – The Sailing World Cup in Hyères, France, concluded with notable performances from three Cypriot participants.
Olympic Champion Pavlos Kontides competed in the ILCA7 category and finished 18th overall, with his best result coming in the 5th race, where he secured 4th place.
Marilena Makri represented Cyprus in the ILCA6 category, placing 29th. Her standout performance occurred in the first race, where she achieved an impressive 2nd place finish.
Meanwhile, Iakovos Christofides participated in the IQFOIL category, finishing 59th.
