FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – A fight among nearly 200 young people in Limassol disrupted residents and passersby near the Agia Fyla roundabout last Friday night.
Police said the group, gathered around 9:30 p.m., wore hoods and carried clubs and stones, engaging in confrontations.
Officers were called to the scene, but the crowd fled upon their arrival. Authorities managed to arrest 13 individuals, including eight 17-year-olds, two 16-year-olds, two 18-year-olds, and one 19-year-old.
The suspects are expected to be re-arrested and detained today. Police are investigating the incident to identify others involved.
