FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Ayia Napa is upgrading its beach infrastructure to improve visitor experience, with new sunbeds, cushions, and umbrellas set to be installed along the resort’s coastline.
The municipality has purchased new sunbed cushions, beds, and umbrellas with ashtrays to enhance comfort and cleanliness at the resort’s beaches. Funding for the project has come from the deputy ministry of tourism’s beach upgrade grant scheme.
The first agreement covers 450 beach cushions, while the second includes 88 sunbeds and 1,500 umbrellas with mounted ashtrays. Officials say the initiative aims to improve services for visitors ahead of the summer season.
