Thirty projects with a total cost of over 122 million euros for the Famagusta district in eastern Cyprus, President Christodoulides has announced.
The announcements were made at a regional gathering in Paralimni.
The aim of the projects is to improve road networks and urban regeneration, develop the economy, businesses and tourism, education, social care and culture.
Surrounded by members of the Council of Ministers and state officials, President Christodoulides underlined the importance of the Famagusta district and its special contribution to the tourism industry, as well as to the competitiveness of the economy.
