FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Authorities arrested a 34-year-old man in Larnaca on Wednesday after reports that a woman had been assaulted and forcibly taken into a car in a parking lot.
Police identified the suspect as a Larnaca resident and located both him and the woman at his home.
As officers entered, the man allegedly attacked them, leading to his immediate arrest.
He is expected to appear in court today and is being investigated for multiple offenses, including kidnapping, assault, causing malicious damage, and attacking a police officer.
