FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE: The Municipality of Paphos is creating municipal museums in the historic center and invites the public to offer objects for exhibition.
Owners of objects related to Paphos’s history and tradition are encouraged to make them available for evaluation. The receipt and management of the objects will ensure their protection and integrity.
Donated objects will bear signs mentioning their donors, while long-term loans will also be accepted with the lender’s name displayed.
Exhibits may include photographic and audiovisual materials, books, handwritten notes, diaries, letters, maps, stamps, newspapers, lithographs, posters, and other items related to sports history in Paphos.
The initiative aims to preserve and showcase the city’s cultural heritage.
