FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Police in Larnaca said Saturday they confiscated 3 kilograms of untaxed tobacco products from a 37-year-old woman preparing to travel to London.
Customs officials searched the woman’s luggage following a tip-off. Inside, they discovered 170 cartons, each containing 200 cigarettes.
The woman was arrested and is scheduled to appear before Larnaca District Court on Sunday.
The case is being handled in cooperation with the Cyprus Department of Customs.
