FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – President Nikos Christodoulides’ recent visit to the United States has been hailed as highly successful and productive, according to Government Spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis.
He said the the trip reaffirmed international confidence in Cyprus and showcased the country’s positive image as a reliable partner in a region of complex challenges.
In a written statement, Letymbiotis reviewed the outcomes of the President’s meetings in New York, Houston, and San Francisco.
He emphasized that Cyprus is now seen as a stable and trustworthy partner capable of offering a safe, regulatorily mature, and economically viable environment for investments.
The spokesman noted that the results of these meetings align with broader reforms aimed at upgrading Cyprus’ international profile and enhancing the extroversion of its economy.
Over the past two years, transparency has been strengthened, credibility established, geopolitical presence upgraded, and the economy fortified.
Letymbiotis highlighted the significant investment interest recorded during the visit, describing it as the result of methodical and targeted efforts.
He pointed to multiple benefits, including the creation of quality jobs, the promotion of innovation, increased competitiveness, and enhanced economic resilience.
