Energy Minister Michalis Damianou will represent the Republic of Cyprus at Tuesday’s Emergency Special Session of the U.N. General Assembly on Ukraine, held to mark four years since Russia launched its full‑scale invasion.
While in New York, he will attend a working lunch hosted by U.K. Minister for Europe Stephen Doughty.
“In the afternoon, the minister will deliver Cyprus’s national statement during a U.N. Security Council meeting on Ukraine convened by the United Kingdom’s presidency,” the announcement said.
