FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Revenue from tourism in Cyprus surged to €79.7 million in February 2025, marking a 22.4% increase compared to €65.1 million in the same month last year, according to the Statistical Service’s Passengers Survey.
For the first two months of the year, tourism earnings reached €148.9 million, a 35% rise from €110.3 million during the January-February period of 2024.
The average tourist spent €595.71 in February 2025, up 14.3% from €521.01 a year prior.
Tourists from the United Kingdom, Cyprus’s largest market (24.8% of total visitors), spent €73.42 per day.
Polish tourists, accounting for 15.1% of arrivals, spent €71.07 daily, while Israeli tourists (14.3%) reported the highest daily expenditure at €203.06.
