A cold air mass will continue to affect the region through Monday, according to the latest forecast.

Today

Skies will be mostly clear, though periods of increased cloud cover are expected. Isolated showers or light snowfall over the higher mountains are possible around midday and early afternoon. Winds will blow from the northwest to northeast at light to moderate strength, 3 to 4 Beaufort. Seas will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will reach 15°C inland, 18°C along the coast and 4°C in the highest mountains, where patches of frost are expected.

Tonight

Conditions will remain mostly clear, with occasional areas of thicker cloud. Winds will stay light from the northwest to northeast at 3 Beaufort. Seas will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will fall to 6°C inland, 7°C on the coasts and –2°C in the higher mountains.

Sunday

Weather will stay mostly clear, with intervals of increased cloud that may bring isolated showers or light mountain snow around midday and early afternoon.

Monday and Tuesday

Skies will remain mostly clear, though passing cloud is expected at times.

Temperatures

Readings on Sunday and Monday will show little change and remain below seasonal averages. A rise is expected on Tuesday.
