EDEK’s Central Committee voted unanimously not to accept the resignation of party leader Nikos Anastasiou, which he had submitted to the body.
During its meeting, the committee reviewed the outcome of the parliamentary elections and decided to hold a regular ideological‑political and electoral congress in November. It also agreed to convene a statutory congress earlier. The Central Committee will meet again on June 28 to set the procedures for both congresses.
