Former US President Jimmy Carter (100) is scheduled to be buried on January 9, writes the New York Times.
Carter, who was president from 1977 to 1981, passed away on Saturday, December 28. President Joe Biden has already declared that January 9 will be an official day of mourning throughout the United States.
