A weak low‑pressure system is affecting Cyprus, with light dust expected in the atmosphere from Tuesday, the Meteorological Service said.
Skies will be mostly clear tonight. Winds will shift to light northwesterly to northeasterly, and southeasterly along the northern coast, around 3 Beaufort. Seas will be calm to slightly rough. Overnight temperatures will drop to 9°C inland, 11°C on the coasts and 3°C in the higher mountains, where isolated frost may form.
Monday will be mostly sunny with periods of increased cloud. Winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest at 3–4 Beaufort, and seas will remain calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will reach 23°C inland and on the south and east coasts, 21°C on the west and north coasts, and 14°C in the higher mountains.
From Tuesday through Thursday, conditions will stay mostly clear with intervals of high cloud. Temperatures will rise steadily to above seasonal averages.
