Women faced higher risks than men, with rates of 18.5% and 15.6%, respectively.

Social transfers, including pensions and benefits, significantly reduced poverty risks. Before transfers, the poverty rate stood at 34.2%, decreasing to 21% with pensions and further dropping to 14.6% when benefits were included.
