Norway is considering imposing sanctions against Rwanda, Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide told state run radio.
The move comes in response to what the Norwegian Foreign Minister believes is Rwanda’s extensive support for the M23 armed group, which is currently on an offensive in eastern Congo and has occupied two major cities.
Rwanda has long denied supporting the group, but these denials are treated with skepticism.
In recent weeks, the US, UK, and Germany have imposed sanctions on Rwanda.
