Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine have issued a joint statement rejecting any form of foreign administration over the Gaza Strip.
The groups emphasized that Gaza’s governance must remain a Palestinian matter, while expressing openness to international aid and support for reconstruction efforts in the war-torn enclave.
Although Hamas and Israel have agreed on the first phase of President Donald Trump’s Gaza peace plan, key issues remain unresolved. These include the potential disarmament of Hamas and the future political structure for governing Gaza.
