Saudi Arabia and the United Nations jointly launched a global cybersecurity capacity-building initiative.
The program aims to address a global shortage of 2.8 million cybersecurity professionals and will offer training, simulations, policy support and research.
Led by Saudi Arabia’s National Cybersecurity Authority and UN agencies, the initiative seeks to strengthen skills in law enforcement, cyber diplomacy and policymaking.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called for collective action to ensure cyberspace serves the common good.
