FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – SpaceX canceled a Starship test shortly before its scheduled launch on Monday due to technical problems, similar to an issue that occurred with the European Ariane rocket.
The countdown reached the 40-second mark before being halted due to trouble with the 123-meter-tall rocket, the world’s largest and most powerful.
Starship was supposed to launch from the southern tip of Texas with four simulated satellites on board for a test flight to the edge of space.
SpaceX, owned by Elon Musk, has indicated that if the problems can be resolved quickly, a new launch attempt could be made on Tuesday.
