Sweden has signed a defense contract worth 1 billion Swedish kronor with Norwegian arms manufacturer Nammo, the country’s defense ministry announced Monday.
The agreement is part of a broader effort to strengthen Sweden’s military capabilities and its role within NATO.
In a separate deal, Sweden also signed a contract with Germany’s Rheinmetall Denel Munition valued at more than 4 billion kronor. Both agreements focus on the supply of artillery ammunition and are part of Sweden’s ongoing efforts to expand its defense infrastructure.
