FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Outgoing Chancellor Olaf Scholz condemns the action in Mannheim, where a German citizen drove a car into a crowd on Monday.
“Once again, we mourn with the relatives of the victims for a senseless act of violence and worry about the injured,” says Scholz in a post on X.
Two people have been confirmed dead following the incident. Police have not immediately found a political motive behind the act.
Recently, several similar actions have occurred in Germany.
“We cannot accept this,” Scholz writes.
