The Israeli military (IDF) says three ‘wanted Palestinians’ were killed in an operation in the northern West Bank on Wednesday.
The men were wanted for selling weapons for terrorist purposes near Tubas, an IDF statement said.
They state that two additional men were arrested in the operation, and that weapons were seized at the scene of the arrest.
According to Palestinian reports, soldiers surrounded a house in an area inhabited by refugees south of Tubas.
The already tense situation in the occupied West Bank has worsened significantly since the Hamas-led attack on Israel in October 2023, which triggered the war in the Gaza Strip.
