Ukraine has received a new loan of 4.8 billion U.S. dollars from the World Bank, the country’s Finance Ministry said on Wednesday.
The funding includes 1.6 billion dollars from the United States, and will support the country’s essential social and humanitarian expenditures, it said.
Since the start of the full-scale conflict with Russia, Ukraine has secured more than 100 billion dollars in foreign financial assistance.
