The personal envoy of the United Nations secretary‑general, María Ángela Holguín, meets with the president at the Presidential Palace at 9 a.m.
Holguín is returning to Cyprus for a new round of contacts aimed at preparing an informal expanded conference on the Cyprus issue.
In the afternoon, she will meet with Turkish Cypriot leader Tufan Erhürman.
Holguín will remain in Cyprus until June 14 before traveling to Greece and Turkey for further consultations.
