Cyprus Police said they remain in constant contact with the relevant authorities of other countries as part of international cooperation and information‑sharing on security matters, following an ongoing investigation in Greece.

The statement said that, as in all similar cases, any information received by the competent services is assessed with appropriate seriousness and in line with established procedures, in coordination with partner agencies abroad.

In a separate development, the Larnaca District Court renewed the detention orders for four suspects, aged 32, 38, 54 and 57. The two younger men have reportedly been linked to the possession of large quantities of materials used to manufacture explosives, while the other two are believed to be their associates.

One of the suspects is said to have admitted that the intended targets were Israelis, though he did not specify where the attacks were to take place.
