US Department of Health and Human Services halts $60 million in Harvard funding

The US Department of Health and Human Services is announcing a $60 million cut in federal funding for Harvard University.

The cut in federal funding is due to “the university’s inability to address anti-Semitism and racial discrimination,” a statement from the department said.

Other universities such as Columbia, Cornell and the University of Pennsylvania have lost support due to pro-Palestinian demonstrations and transgender participation in sports.
