Sixty-four South Korean nationals accused of involvement in online fraud were deported from Cambodia on Saturday and taken into custody upon arrival, according to Agence France-Presse.
Cambodian authorities said the individuals had been detained as part of a broader crackdown on cybercrime.
Since June, 3,455 suspects from 20 Asian and African countries have been arrested in Cambodia in connection with online scams.
South Korean police confirmed the arrests and said investigations are ongoing.
