Chinese authorities have evacuated 82,000 people from various parts of Beijing due to the risk of torrential rain, Chinese state media reported.
The evacuation comes after at least 44 people lost their lives in floods in the suburbs of the Chinese capital last week.
Authorities have warned of flooding in several districts, and a red warning has been issued due to the expectation of heavy rain from Monday morning to Thursday morning.
