Cyprus Weather Forecast for 5 August – Mostly clear skies

CYPRUS WEATHER – 5 AUGUST – A seasonal low-pressure system is affecting the area, bringing mostly clear skies with pockets of increased cloud cover later in the day.

Winds will shift from southwesterly to northwesterly, starting light at 11 mph (3 Beaufort scale) and gradually strengthening to moderate levels around 13–17 mph (4 Beaufort), occasionally reaching strong gusts of up to 21 mph (5 Beaufort) along southern coastal areas. Seas will be slightly rough.

Temperatures are expected to rise to 100.4°F (38°C) inland, 89.6°F (32°C) along the western coast, 93.2°F (34°C) in other coastal areas, and 82.4°F (28°C) in higher elevations.

Tonight, skies will remain mostly clear, with occasional patches of low cloud or light fog developing. Winds will remain light, predominantly from the southwest to northwest. Seas will continue to be slightly rough.

Overnight lows will dip to 73.4°F (23°C) inland and along the coast, and down to 64.4°F (18°C) in mountainous areas.

No significant temperature changes are expected on Wednesday or Thursday. However, Friday is forecast to see a slight increase in temperatures, pushing readings above seasonal averages.
