FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Israeli forces carried out a targeted strike on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, killing journalist Hassan Eslaih, according to Al Jazeera.
Eslaih died while receiving treatment following the attack, which occurred after Hamas released Israeli-American hostage Edan Alexander on Monday.
The Israeli military confirmed the strike in a statement on the Telegram messaging service early Tuesday, saying it had targeted key Hamas operatives using the hospital as a command center. The IDF alleged that the facility was being used to plan and launch attacks against Israeli civilians and military forces.
