FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – The total weight of goods transported by road in Cyprus fell by 9.7% in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, according to the Statistical Service.
Despite the decline in domestic freight, the weight of cargo transported to and from Cyprus increased by 3.4% during the October-December period.
For the full year of 2024, road freight transport within Cyprus rose by 3.2% compared to 2023, while international freight recorded a 2.0% increase.
