Cyprus Police have concluded a Weeklong nationwide road safety campaign focusing on driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
The initiative aimed to prevent serious and fatal road accidents through targeted checks and public awareness efforts.
Authorities stress that impaired driving remains one of the leading causes of traffic collisions in Cyprus.
Throughout the campaign, police conducted increased roadside inspections, particularly during nighttime hours and weekends, when alcohol consumption among drivers is more prevalent.
