Today’s weather is expected to be mostly clear across Cyprus, though some areas may experience brief periods of increased cloud cover.

Winds will begin light and variable at 3 Beaufort, locally reaching moderate levels of 3 to 4 Beaufort.

They will gradually shift to southwesterly to northwesterly, generally moderate at 4 Beaufort, increasing to 4 to 5 Beaufort along southern coastal areas. In the southwest, winds may strengthen further later in the day, reaching 5 to 6 Beaufort.

Seas will be slightly rough, becoming locally rough later in the day. Temperatures will rise to around 39°C inland, about 31°C along the western and southwestern coasts and higher elevations, and approximately 34°C elsewhere along the coast.

Tonight, skies will remain mostly clear. However, patchy fog or low cloud cover is expected to form locally, especially during the early morning hours. Winds will remain light to moderate, ranging from southwesterly to northwesterly at 3 to 4 Beaufort. Seas will be slightly rough in the west, north, and parts of the south, while calmer conditions are expected elsewhere.

Overnight temperatures will drop to around 21°C inland, 23°C along the coast, and 20°C in the mountains.

On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, conditions will remain mostly clear in the morning. However, increased cloud cover is expected during midday and afternoon hours. On Tuesday, isolated showers are likely, primarily in mountainous areas.

Temperatures will gradually decline through Tuesday, with little change expected on Wednesday, remaining near seasonal averages.
