Clocks across Cyprus and the rest of the European Union will turn back one hour early Sunday, Oct. 26, as winter time officially begins.
At 4:00 a.m., clocks should be set back to 3:00 a.m., marking the end of daylight saving time.
The change, observed annually on the last Sunday of October, is part of the EU’s coordinated energy-saving policy.
The adjustment aims to make better use of daylight during the winter months and is implemented uniformly across all EU member states.
