The public have been warned to take care when exploring the rugged landscape in Cyprus. It comes after a 31-year-old man died after falling from the rocks into the sea in the Pegia region of Paphos.
According to Phileleftheros, those who entered the sea in the area saw the person standing on the rocks fall into the sea and disappear. As a result of the search initiated by the relevant rescue services, a body was plucked out of the sea.
The newspaper reported that the victim was a 31-year-old Ukrainian man who was a permanent resident of Paphos, and that the cause of death would be determined after an autopsy.
