Venezuela’s acting president, Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, says she has invited the U.S. government to pursue cooperation.
In a message posted on Telegram, Rodríguez said Venezuela is proposing a joint agenda focused on “shared development” within the framework of international law, aimed at strengthening long‑term social coexistence.
She added that the country seeks to live without external threats, in an environment of respect and international cooperation.
“President Donald Trump, our people and our region deserve peace and dialogue, not war,” she wrote, adding that this has long been the message of President Nicolás Maduro and “the message of all Venezuela right now.”
