A Cabinet decree adjusting Cyprus’ national minimum wage is in force.
Under the decree, the minimum monthly salary for any full‑time employee in the Republic is set at €1,088.
For workers who have not yet completed six consecutive months with the same employer, the full‑time minimum is set at €979.
The decree notes that the definition of full‑time hours for each economic sector remains as it was at the time the decree was issued.
For part‑time employees, the minimum monthly wage will be adjusted proportionally based on hours worked.
