Police have arrested a 26‑year‑old man in connection with the attempted murder of a 21‑year‑old in Nicosia on Feb. 10, authorities said Thursday.
Investigators secured arrest warrants for two suspects, aged 25 and 26, after obtaining testimony in the case.
The 26‑year‑old was detained on Wednesday and is expected to appear before the Nicosia District Court on Thursday for a remand hearing.
The second suspect, a 25‑year‑old man, remains wanted.
Police issued a public notice on Feb. 11 seeking information on his whereabouts.
