Police carried out intensified overnight operations across urban areas, aiming to prevent serious crime, protect the public and maintain order, authorities said Wednesday.

The operations led to four arrests nationwide for offenses including unlawful possession of property, burglary and theft, failure to appear in court and violation of court orders.

Police also conducted checks at 36 premises to deter illegal activity. More than 350 traffic inspections were carried out, resulting in 129 citations, including 65 for speeding. Three vehicles were impounded as part of ongoing traffic investigations.

The actions form part of a broader, ongoing police strategy involving increased patrols, targeted checks and rapid operational response across all districts to strengthen crime prevention and public safety.
