Hermes Airports has announced the arrival of Discover Airlines at Larnaca Airport, marking the Lufthansa Group leisure carrier’s first operations in Cyprus.
Discover Airlines, the group’s dedicated holiday‑travel brand, operates medium‑ and long‑haul flights from Frankfurt and Munich.
The airline focuses on leisure destinations and runs a fleet of more than 30 aircraft serving over 60 holiday markets worldwide.
The new Cyprus service connects Larnaca with the major German hubs of Frankfurt and Munich.
Flights are operated with Airbus A320 aircraft configured with both Economy and Business Class cabins.
As part of the Lufthansa Group network, passengers can book through‑journeys and connect seamlessly via Frankfurt and Munich to long‑haul destinations across the globe.
Hermes Airports said the addition of Discover Airlines strengthens Larnaca’s connectivity to central Europe and broadens the island’s access to the German market.
The airport also maintains long‑standing links with Berlin, with easyJet operating the island’s longest‑running direct connection to the German capital through its twice‑weekly Larnaca–Berlin service.
